EASTVIEW CHURCH
Baptism, a picture of Christ’s work in us.
We believe that baptism is an outward expression of an inward reality of Christ’s work in our lives. With baptism by immersion, we believe it is a beautiful picture of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Baptism Class
Our baptism class is designed to help you prepare for this important step of faith. In the class, you’ll discover what baptism means, how to share your story, and walk through what to expect on your baptism day. Please bring the person who will be baptizing you, and join us for this class before your baptism. The class will include breakout time for age-specific conversations with kids and students, so if you have a son or daughter that is asking questions about baptism, we encourage you to attend this class with them.
Scheduling Your Baptism
We celebrate baptisms at Eastview during services on Baptism Sundays, as well as after services if you prefer a more intimate setting. We encourage everyone getting baptized to attend our Baptism Class where you’ll learn the meaning and significance of baptism.
